The Goa Express have dropped their latest single, ‘Talking About Stuff’, alongside the announcement of their long-awaited self-titled debut album. In comparison to their recent punky offerings such as ‘Good Luck Charm’, ‘Talking About Stuff’ is a more melodic, sunny track that leans into its laid-back, gentle balladry, rather than spiky guitar-work. The track is unafraid to indulge in indie sentiment, with a heavily accented vocal delivery and casually relatable lyrics taking centre stage. The upcoming album, The Goa Express, drops in October 2023 via Communion, following various appearances around the UK and Europe this summer. -Dan Peeke
